
Pistol Range Rules
FOLLOW THESE RULES OR DO NOT SHOOT
Our rules are for the safety of all members and guests. Rules are subject to change and it is the responsibility of members and guests to observe all rules.

This range is for PISTOLS ONLY! NO EXCEPTIONS. Pistol calibers only. No bottle neck rifle calibers or shotgun shells. If you shoot a rifle or shotgun on this range you will be barred from this club for life; This is a major SAFETY ISSUE. AR & AK pistols are not allowed on the pistol range; they must be fired from the rifle range. No rifle platform pistols allowed.

No alcohol or drugs allowed on the range.

No one under the influence of drugs or alcohol allowed on the range.

Hearing and eye protection are required to use this range

Treat all firearms as if they are loaded. Keep firearms pointed in a safe direction.

Firearms may only be loaded while on the bench and pointed downrange.

Keep your finger off the trigger until you are pointed at the target.

Personal targets must be paper or cardboard; nothing else and no exceptions. Targets to be attached with staples or tape; no exceptions.

The minimum distance allowed to the target is 7 yards (measured from the front of the bench top).

Do not shoot at the ground or anything laying on the ground between the firing line and the berm.

All bullets must be aimed and fired at the intended target. No spraying bullets downrange.

Shoot straight downrange and not at an angle across the range.

All shooting must be from a bench top position or with the muzzle in front of the bench top.

You must shoot from a stationary position. No walking or running while shooting.

No quick draw shooting

One bench per shooter.

No rapid firing mag dumps. One double tap allowed and one second between next shots. No fully automatic firearms, no bump fire.

No tracer or armor piercing or incendiary ammo.

No 50 Cal BMG allowed on any range.

Before going downrange, all firearms MUST have magazines removed, actions open, and then benched, boxed, or holstered. There must be no handling of firearms while someone is downrange.

Any work on a loaded firearm must be done at the shooting bench while pointed downrange. Do not work on a loaded firearm at the cleaning bench or in your vehicle.

Pick up your trash. This includes, but not limited to, used targets, personal items, etc. Dumpsters are provided for target trash (not cardboard boxes or your personal trash).

Children under 18 years of age must be supervised by an adult.

Children under 12 years of age must have an adult within arm’s reach while handling a firearm.

Shoot at your own risk.

When shooting semi-automatic firearms, you are obligated to prevent your brass from ejecting onto adjacent shooters.

One guest per member per visit per year. After the initial visit a membership will be required. Members are responsible for their guest.

Do not give your membership card and key to others for use. This will forfeit your membership. Membership card, photo ID and/or driver’s license is required and may be requested by any member to confirm your membership.

Any violation of the rules is grounds for immediate suspension of membership privileges without refund of dues.

All members must acknowledge and adhere to all rules concerning guests.
Rifle Range Rules

This range is for pistols, rifles, and shotguns.

Personal targets must be paper or cardboard; nothing else and no exceptions. You may also utilize the steel targets furnished by the club.

Do not shoot at the ground or anything laying on the ground between the firing line and the berm.

All bullets must be aimed and fired at the intended target. No spraying bullets downrange. Shoot straight downrange and not at an angle across the range.
11. All shooting must be from a position on the concrete behind the front shelter post.
12. You must shoot from a stationary position. No walking or running while shooting.
13. One bench per shooter.
14. No tracer or armor piercing or incendiary ammo. 50 ca Firearms are permitted to shoot paper or cardboard targets only; no shooting at steel targets. No 50 caliber BMG on any range.
15. Before going downrange, all firearms MUST have magazines removed, actions open, and then benched, boxed, or holstered. There must be no handling of firearms while someone is downrange.
16. No fully automatic firearms, no bump fire, and no other means to accomplish rapid fire is permitted. All firing must be aimed and sustain a minimum of 1 second between shots. Double tap practice is permitted with 1 second in between sets.
